VR Week 24 Q1

Here are some questions based on the last few weeks’ lessons.  See if you can remember how to answer them quickly and accurately.

In the following questions, look at the sentence and take note of the two jumbled-up words.  Using the context of the sentence to help you, rearrange the letters and make the words.  You should notice one letter is missing, and it’s the same letter in each word.  Your task is to say which letter is missing from both jumbled-up words.

For example:

I will awk into town aret to see if I can buy some batteries.

Answer:  L (making ‘walk’ and ‘later’)

Question:          The etocorll was keen to buy the isalcs car.
